For individual therapy, I utilized Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help you connect to the present moment and make lasting decision based on your values. I also focus on shifting behaviors and thoughts to improve the way you feel.

In couples work, I am trained in Gottman Level 1, Couples and Addiction Recovery, and Treating Trauma and Affairs. I also utilize Emotion Focused Therapy to overcome common communication struggles in relationships.

In couples therapy for addiction, we view the addiction as a third party that has woven its way into your relationship, impacting both the addict and the partner. Once we untangle that, we can make a plan for how you and your partner will combat addiction together, rather than allowing it to remain a wedge in your relationship.

In the therapy space, my goal is to slow things down so we can explore the root of the issue. Thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are often deeply engrained, so by exploring the past we can see how it is impacting your present. Then, we can make conscious changes to shift the future. My clients often say they feel more calm, understood, and anchored to their core self.

I am currently paneled with many major insurance companies in Texas and I do accept insurance for individual services. Couples therapy sessions with me are 85-minute extended sessions and are not covered by insurance. I do not accept insurance in Florida and Missouri. Please reach out for more details.
