What we can do together…
Individual Therapy
We will work together to explore your thoughts, feelings, and patterns with compassion and without judgement. Together, we will work to figure out what's getting in the way of feeling like yourself. I will support you in building insight, developing healthier coping strategies, and making meaningful changes aligned with your values. I specialize in anxiety, substance use/misuse, and relationship struggles.

Good Faith Estimate Notice
Under recently enacted federal law, healthcare providers need to give clients who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services. You have a right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy. This typically will not be an issue, as fees for therapy services are clear up front and payment is due after every session. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute that bill. For questions or more information about your right to a good faith estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
Many people ask if couples therapy is covered by insurance. In most cases, it is not. Insurance companies generally require that sessions focus on treating an identified individual with a mental health diagnosis, and that the treatment is considered “medically necessary.” Because couples therapy is centered on the relationship rather than one person’s diagnosis, it typically does not meet these requirements. I also only offer extended 85-minute couples sessions to help facilitate deep growth.
For this reason, I do not bill insurance for couples sessions. All couples therapy is private-pay. This allows us to focus on your goals; improving communication, rebuilding trust, and strengthening your relationship, without the restrictions that come with insurance requirements.
If you would like to use your insurance benefits for individual therapy, I do accept insurance for that service.
